Optometry Scotland is sharing the following update issued by NSS PSD Ophthalmic for members’ information.
Members are encouraged to review the update carefully and ensure any relevant information is shared with practice teams involved in eOphthalmic claims and processes.
For any technical or claims-related queries, members should contact NSS PSD Ophthalmic directly through the usual channels.
“From the October-paid-November schedule we will no longer accept paper HES(S)3 forms. All HES(S)3 forms must be sent electronically through the eOphthalmic payments system. Any HES(S)3 forms received by mail from the October-paid-November 2026 schedule will be returned to your practice by mail for re-submission digitally.”
