Helping children get the best start in life – An overview of Scotland’s Early Child Development and Pre-school Review Coverage Statistics – 2024/25
WEBINAR – 18 June 2026, 13:00 – 14:30
Development in the earliest years of life provides the foundation for all future learning and a platform for children to succeed.
Scotland’s annual statistics on early child development and pre-school review coverage are important tools in terms of our ability to:
- monitor development in the pre-school population; and
- best ensure services and supports meet the needs of young children and their families.
This webinar will be jointly hosted by Public Health Scotland and the Scottish Government.
It will provide attendees with an overview of the latest early child development and pre-school review statistics (covering 2024/25). Attendees will also have the opportunity to consider and discuss how national and local data can be used to identify need and inform the design and delivery of associated services.
The webinar is open to anyone interested in early child development in Scotland and would be of particular relevance to those involved in the design and delivery of services and supports for pre-school children and their families.
Please register here.
We look forward to seeing you there!
