| Independent Prescribing Simulation-Based Sessions continue to run on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. These hands-on workshops are held at Clinic M, Stobhill Hospital, Glasgow.

These placements comprise a series of innovation scenarios around the groundbreaking EyeSi virtual reality slit lamp, which is highly realistic diagnostic training system for medical professionals. This integrates cutting-edge virtual reality technology into the original hardware of a Haag Streit slit lamp, allowing you to examine virtual patients in real-time with the biomicroscope, fundoscopy lens and/or gonioscopy lens.
Each day is made up of two sessions (am/pm), each session can be used for 3 Specialist or 3 General Interactive CPD points and 1 IP clinical placement. (N.B. These sessions cannot be repeated. To count towards your IP clinical placement, you must have successfully passed your University Independent Prescribing course.)
