Optometry Scotland is sharing the following update issued by NSS PSD Ophthalmic for members’ information.
Members are encouraged to review the update carefully and ensure any relevant information is shared with practice teams involved in eOphthalmic claims and processes.

“Applications for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for 2025 will open on 12 October 2026 and close on 29 January 2027.
Further information, including eligibility criteria, can be found in PCA(O)2026(07).
The CPD application form is hosted on the eOphthalmic system, allowing you to enter your details directly onto a secure web form and submit them directly to us. Further information, including detailed CPD instructions on how to submit your claim, can be found on our website here.
You will be unable to log in to the digital forms until 12 October 2026.“
