National guidance for NHS staff on speaking up in NHS Scotland
Over the last year, the Independent National Whistleblowing Officer (INWO) and Healthcare Improvement Scotland (HIS) have been working together to develop national guidance to help staff (and volunteers) understand how to speak up about the NHS in Scotland.
HIS have now pleased to share the final version of the guidance.
This publication reflects close collaboration between two national organisations with key roles in supporting and responding to concerns in Scotland. By working together, we are helping to improve awareness and access to advice, strengthen understanding of the available routes and support a more open and positive speaking up culture.
