The National Centre for Remote and Rural Health and Care (the Centre) has a small allocation of funding to support Scottish domiciled nursing and allied health pre-registration students about to undertake a rural placement within primary and community care.
The funding is to support accommodation and travel costs and to help students about to undertake a remote, rural and island primary and community care placement.
To qualify for a funding award, you must be working in a rural area or providing healthcare to people who live in rural areas. Rural areas are defined by Scottish Government.
Your application will be considered against the criteria within the online application, so please ensure you answer the questions in the form carefully and demonstrate how your application for funding support meets these criteria.
