DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEyecare Birmingham is now available to book with the £45 Early Bird offer running until 1st April 2026. We are moving to a fantastic new venue\, right in the heart of Birmingham on 20th September. Fazeley Studios will be the new home of Eyecare Birmingham and we can’t wait to see you all there!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur next event is Eyecare Huddersfield\, which returns to the Cedar Court Hotel on 10th May. Both Eyecare Birmingham and Huddersfield will have 2 dedicated CPD tracks\, with education available for Optoms and DOs. Peer review is included and breakfast\, lunch and refreshments are all provided.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBoth events will welcome back a wide range of exhibitors\, bringing you the very best equipment\, frames\, lenses and services available in the industry. SUMMARY:Eyecare Education Free CPD Webinar for Optoms\, DOs and CLOs
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our latest FREE CPD Webinar on 29th September at 7pm\, in association with Mark’ennovoy (1 interactive CPD point for Optom\, DO and CLO) \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis presentation will review global\, and local UK trends of myopia\, alongside effective approaches and emerging digital resources for communicating with patients and parents. It will examine recent evidence concerning the relative and absolute lifetime risks associated with myopia\, the benefits of earlier intervention\, and the identification and management of pre-myopia. The session will then focus on soft contact lens options for myopia management. Current clinical evidence will be critically reviewed\, including recently published longer-term data\, to support evidence-based product selection and patient management. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur guest speaker is Neema Ghorbani Mojarrad Assistant Professor at Bradford University. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNeema is an Associate Professor at the University of Bradford. He is the Chair of the British and Irish University and College Contact Lens Educators (BUCCLE)\, a member of the UK Myopia Consortium\, an associate editor of BMJ Open Ophthalmology\, and holds fellowships for both the BCLA and IACLE. His research interests include myopia management\, myopia development\, contact lenses\, and anterior eye.
